STOCKHOLM – 22 July 2025 – Swedish fintech company Mynt is entering into a strategic partnership with Nordea (www.nordea.com), the largest bank in the Nordic region, to launch a corporate card and expense management solution for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, with a planned launch date of 2026.
SMEs generate over 50% of Europe's economic output, but often operate with smaller teams and tighter resources, making efficient and user-friendly financial tools particularly valuable for scaling up their business and managing day-to-day expenses.
The partnership combines Mynt's modern expense management infrastructure with Nordea's Nordic platform to deliver a seamlessly integrated solution that helps SMEs save time, gain control and work more efficiently. This joint initiative is an important step towards developing financial solutions for SMEs, as Mynt and Nordea are working together to develop more efficient ways for businesses to manage expenses in an increasingly digital world.
The new solution offers a complete corporate card and expense management product, equipped with automated receipt management, real-time expense controls, ERP integrations and full accounting automation. By integrating Mynt's white-labelled infrastructure into Nordea's services, businesses gain access to a frictionless toolbox of digital tools.
The solution covers the entire lifecycle of corporate expenses – from onboarding and KYC/AML to direct reporting and seamless export to accounting software. It is built to streamline how small and medium-sized businesses manage corporate cards, reimbursements and reporting.

Before automation, processing a single expense report could take anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes between entry, correction and approval. With Mynt's technology, the same task takes only 30 to 120 seconds, according to the company's own estimates – a 95% reduction in administration time. For an average small or medium-sized business, this means a saving of 10-20 hours per month, freeing up hundreds of hours per year.
Other benefits include
● Automatic receipt matching – eliminates the need to hunt for receipts
● Pre- and post-purchase checks – reduces unnecessary expenses
● Real-time visibility – improves overview and budgeting
● One-click ERP synchronisation – streamlines accounting
Mynt's platform is already used by tens of thousands of small and medium-sized businesses across the Nordics. With Nordea's broad customer base, this partnership significantly strengthens Mynt's market presence and leadership in financial technology for businesses, while supporting Nordea's strategic ambition to become the leading digital bank for small and medium-sized businesses in the Nordics.
Baltsar Sahlin, CEO and co-founder of Mynt: "Expense management solutions have seen strong growth in recent years through neobanks, with businesses increasingly seeking more flexible, digital tools to manage their expenses and finances. This partnership demonstrates that change is underway in the banking sector for SMEs. By integrating Mynt's expense management platform directly into Nordea's offering, we are changing how banks help business customers across Europe. Together, we are creating an efficient, modern and accessible financial solution for small and medium-sized enterprises. A solution that saves time, reduces administration and enables them to do what they do best: grow and deliver to their customers."
For Mynt, the partnership is its first major bank integration and an important step in its broader European expansion. It also follows a recent Series B funding round of €22 million led by Vor Capital, with participation from Visa.

About Mynt
Mynt was created in 2018 when three colleagues – Baltsar Sahlin, Magnus Wideberg and Johan Obermayer – found themselves struggling to enter their weekly receipts into the outdated accounting system used by the company where they all worked at the time. Mynt develops companies' financial management systems by offering innovative solutions for managing business expenses and automating accounting, as well as an attractive card-based offering for small and medium-sized enterprises. Mynt will have expanded to all Nordic markets by the end of the year, which means that tens of thousands of small and medium-sized businesses will have access to Mynt and that companies will save countless hours by automating what is perhaps the least popular task in business.
