Mynt and Visma Pay announce partnership to deliver corporate cards and spend management solutions to Finnish SMEs
May 14, 2025
For the last couple of years, the Swedish fintech Mynt has experienced strong growth and increased its focus on embedding their solution into other systems. Now, Visma Pay joins forces with Mynt to deliver spend management and commercial cards to Finnish Visma customers. Through the partnership, businesses in Finland using Visma systems will gain access to corporate cards and integrated spend management – all seamlessly connected to their existing Visma setup.

The partnership

Visma serves 200 000 SMEs in Finland – of the total 455 300 businesses in Finland.1 By integrating with the Mynt Platform solution, Visma is expanding its offering to deliver embedded card management solutions tailored for Finnish SMEs.

Visma owns several major financial management softwares in Finland, and Visma Pay has developed an integration using Mynt’s APIs that can connect to any of them. These integrations are natively branded within the Visma Pay ecosystem, providing a seamless and familiar experience for existing users. The collaboration launches with an integration to the Visma Pay software, Passeli Merit.

The product

Mynt acts as the card issuer and provides the APIs, ensuring customers a secure and reliable spend management solution. Cardholders can make purchases, photograph receipts, and have them automatically scanned and logged into their ERP or financial management system – eliminating manual data entry and reducing errors. Built-in approval workflows ensure that spend tracking and compliance are managed within the same system, reducing administrative burden while maintaining financial control. The integration with Visma’s financial tools enhances usability and efficiency, providing Finnish businesses with a welcomed automated spend management experience.

“This partnership marks the beginning of an exciting collaboration that will directly benefit Finnish SMEs – a key segment of Finland’s economy. By integrating Mynt’s spend management into Visma Pay, we’re making corporate spending easier, more transparent, and fully automated.” – Johannes Hill, Head of Mynt Platform

“We are proud to launch our first Visma-branded payment card in Finland, seamlessly integrated with Passeli Merit financial management solution. Managing business expenses is often time-consuming and prone to errors, yet it remains a necessity for all companies. At Visma, we see it as our mission to help businesses streamline financial processes, freeing up valuable time to focus on growth and success.

In close collaboration with Mynt, a leading expert in card management, we are committed to delivering an innovative and efficient solution that enhances financial control and simplifies expense handling. This partnership marks an exciting step forward in our mission to empower businesses with smarter financial tools” – Markus Salminen, Director, Payment Solutions and Information Security
