Mynt and e-conomic Partner to Launch Company Cards and Expense Management for Danish SMEs
August 28, 2025
Swedish fintech Mynt and Denmark’s leading accounting platform e-conomic, today announced a strategic partnership to embed Mynt’s company card and spend management capabilities into e-conomic’s platform. Starting this autumn, close to 250.000 Danish businesses using e-conomic will be able to get Mynt-powered company cards, available as both credit and debit, directly within their accounting system. The result is a fully e-conomic branded solution for expense management accessible in a system that is Danish SMEs preferred.

Stockholm & Copenhagen – 28 August 2025

More than half of Danish SMEs use e-conomic, which is owned by Visma. This partnership will expand e-conomic’s platform. Embedding Mynt Platform directly into the accounting system, e-conomic customers will no longer have to deal with the struggles of traditional company cards. This fall, Danish SMEs will instead get instant physical and virtual card issuance, easy receipt management, granular pre- and post-purchase spend controls and much more. Employees can simply snap a photo of the receipt on their phone, choose an expense category, and submit it.

“Modern expense management isn’t a nice-to-have; it’s non-negotiable for competitive businesses,” said Johannes Hill, Head of Platform at Mynt. With our partnership, we are turning every card swipe into a moment of automatic compliance, so founders can focus on growth instead of paperwork.”

Christian Wook Andersen, CPO at e-conomic, added, “It has been crucial for e-conomic to build something that is specifically designed for our users expectations and needs and can address concrete challenges in everyday life. Partnering with Mynt lets us eliminate a significant manual pain-point in company spending and deliver a seamless, expense management experience within e-conomic.”

Since its founding in 2018, Mynt has become a leading white-label infrastructure for banks, ERPs and mobility operators, powering spend management solutions across Europe. Partners can adopt the entire platform or integrate individual modules (like card issuing, receipt automation, approval workflows, etc.) to suit specific market needs.

By combining e-conomic’s market-leading accounting platform with Mynt’s modern spend-management stack, the two companies aim to deliver a finance solution that is simple, intuitive and best in class. Laying the foundation for a long-term collaboration that will continue to raise the bar for business payments and accounting automation.
